A New Chapter Begins

Hello, dear readers!

I originally shared the message below with my close community, but after receiving a lot of curiosity from those who aren’t on my email list, I decided to share it here on the blog as well. I love that this message will now have a lasting home on my site, for anyone who stumbles across it in the future. 😊

Before we dive in, I want to mention that my website might seem like a mix of various phases of my journey at the moment, but don’t worry — it’ll be updated soon!

If you’d like to stay connected and receive updates, feel free to sign up for my email list. I appreciate your presence here — it truly means a lot!

Hi there,

You might be wondering…

Where have you been these past few months? Why are you writing this now? And wait, who exactly are you again? (Before you go anywhere, I promise all will be revealed!)

Let me refresh your memory.

Over the last several years, I’ve been known by a few titles — a tech enthusiast, computer science educator, blogger, and more recently, the creator of Computer Science on Tips. I’ve poured my energy into making computer science accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages, including children.

Does that ring a bell?

But, if I’ve learned anything from the past few years, it’s that life is full of transformations — some small, others massive. Have you felt that shift, too?

In the last year and a half, here’s what’s been going on:

  • I took a step back from certain aspects of my blog to realign my focus. I stopped publishing as frequently, paused any major promotional efforts, and gave myself space to envision what the future of my blog and content will look like.
  • I’ve been rethinking the purpose of Computer Science on Tips — moving from a project-based approach to something more personal and expansive.
  • I’ve allowed myself the flexibility to focus on other parts of my life, while still keeping the flame of my passion for tech education alive.

A lot has changed, and in many ways, I feel like a different person from the last time I regularly updated this space. Life has a way of shifting us in unexpected directions, doesn’t it?

Living in alignment with your true purpose sounds inspiring, but it also means letting go…

  • Letting go of past versions of myself.
  • Letting go of certain labels or projects that I used to rely on for identity and security.
  • Letting go of anything that no longer serves the person I’m growing into.

I’ve found myself constantly asking the question, “Who am I now, and what’s next for me?”

And here’s what’s true for me now: I’m evolving.

While I’ve dedicated a huge part of my life to teaching computer science and making complex concepts simpler, I’m finding new inspiration in helping others discover their own paths — especially when it comes to technology and education.

A new passion is brewing inside me, one that combines my love for tech with my desire to help others express their creativity, heal through learning, and explore new possibilities.

This means that some aspects of my work may shift. You may see fewer purely technical tutorials and more explorations of how technology can be a tool for personal growth and creative expression. I want to help others embrace tech as not just a tool for coding, but as a gateway to personal evolution.

As I embrace this shift, there’s still plenty of exciting content coming your way! I’ll continue to share educational resources and tools that help students and enthusiasts on their journeys, but there will also be more personal insights, tips, and perhaps even collaborations that dive into the deeper impacts of tech on our lives.

Why?

I recently had a conversation with a fellow tech enthusiast who asked, "Why are you changing things up when everything was working fine?"

Why stop producing the content I’ve been known for? Why not keep things as they are? Why change direction?

And the answer is simple: when you no longer feel aligned with what you’re doing, the cost is your sense of fulfillment.

So while I could continue producing the same kind of content indefinitely, I know that what feels true and authentic to me is evolving, and I’m excited to embrace that change.

Every shift I’ve made in my life has brought me closer to understanding myself, and this is just the next step.

With that in mind, I want you to know that this is not the end of Computer Science on Tips. Far from it!

It’s just the next evolution of this journey — and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride. 🔥

Stay tuned for more updates on what’s next, and how you can join me on this exciting path.

With gratitude, Akash Kumar Solanki
